Description
Summer interns will gain hands-on experience in the construction industry while building professional skills. Interns will spend 80% of their time hands-on in the field with experienced Superintendents and 20% of the time in-office with experienced Project Managers. Our summer internship is a paid opportunity. The duration of the internship is flexible to align with summer break schedules.
80% of time hands-on in the field with Superintendents learning:
- Quality Control Procedures
- Safety and Equipment Training
- City and Inspection Requirements
- Blueprint reading to understand Architectural, Structural, Civil and MEP components
20% of the time in-office with Project Managers learning:
- Construction Software Training
- Construction Schedule Development
- Bid Reviews and Contracting
- Blueprint reading to understand Architectural, Structural, Civil and MEP components
