Building a better community

Community Focused

At Coil, we believe in the importance of giving back to our community through our service and volunteerism. Our culture focuses on sharing our generosity with the organizations that make our community a better place to live and work.
Welcome Home

We worked alongside Welcome Home, a nonprofit veteran centered organization, to build their emergency shelter for Veterans. This center provides 32 transitional housing rooms, with 34 beds, for homeless Veterans and families.

St. Raymond's Society - Super Start Preschool

We partnered with St. Raymond’s Society to renovate and transform 11,000 square feet of medical office space into eight classrooms and office spaces, launching their preschool and infant care program, Super Start Preschool. This project supports St. Raymond’s mission of partnering with new and expectant mothers to build a thriving future for themselves and their families.

Mobility Worldwide

We built a 12,500 square foot building for Mobility World Wide to manufacture their Personal Energy Transportation (PET) carts. The building provides more space for the organization with improved loading docks, larger assembly areas and a greatly increased storage capacity.

Boys and Girls Club of Columbia

We collaborated with the Boys and Girls Club of Columbia to expand their teen program space, adding a high school-sized basketball court, a commercial kitchen, a teen activities and computer room, a music recording studio and a performing arts stage.

Boy Scouts of America

Our ongoing partnership with Boy Scouts of America has resulted in the build of a 2,300 square foot building for merit badge courses, 4,050 square feet of Invention Lab space to encourage technology and innovation among youth, drip-field septic system and dosing tanks designed for the entire reservation and a large viewing deck overlooking Lake of the Ozarks.

Our Green Philosophy

Part of our community recognition is based on our commitment to maintaining environmental building practices. Our philosophy is that building should be environmentally responsible, by focusing on sustainability and green building

Coil Cares

"Coil Cares," established in 2024, unites our team through dedicated volunteer days, supporting local organizations in need and making a positive impact on our community.

Community Service

We value community service and encourage our employees to join us in various events throughout the year that benefit the local Columbia community and beyond.

Our impact

Coils dedicated employees have volunteered thousands of hours of service to give back to the community live and work in.

Our mission

We don’t just build in the community for you. We live in the community with you. We believe the goal of a construction project should be about more than just a well-built building. It’s about building community. That core belief sets us apart from other construction firms, and it’s why we have been building community for more than 50 years.
